The Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) has issued an urgent notification announcing that the Choice Filling for NEET PG 2025 Round 2 Counselling has been temporarily halted today, 10 December 2025, from 2:00 PM to 6:00 PM.
According to the official notice, the pause is necessary as MCC is currently adding and withdrawing certain seats based on updates received from various institutes. Additionally, seats that have become vacant due to student resignations will also be added to the Round 2 seat matrix.

Revised Schedule
- Choice Filling Halt: 10 December 2025 | 2:00 PM – 6:00 PM
- Choice Filling Resumes: 10 December 2025 after 6:00 PM
- Choice Filling Deadline: 11:55 PM, 12 December 2025
- Choice Locking Activation: 12 December 2025 | 4:00 PM – 11:55 PM

Follow the steps below to participate in the Round 2 counselling process:
- Visit the official MCC website
Go to mcc.nic.in and select the PG Medical Counselling section. - Log in to your candidate dashboard
Enter your NEET PG roll number, password, and security pin. - Complete or verify registration (if required)
Candidates who already registered in Round 1 do not need to register again. - Choice Filling
- Click on “Choice Filling & Locking”
- Select preferred courses and colleges from the list
- Arrange choices in order of priority
- Save and Lock Choices
- Click “Save” after every modification
- Lock your choices between 4:00 PM and 11:55 PM on 12 December 2025
- Download Confirmation Slip
After locking, download the Choice Locking confirmation for future reference. - Wait for Seat Allotment Result
MCC will publish the Round 2 seat allotment result on the official portal as per schedule.
