MCC NEET PG 2025 NRI Quota: The Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) has released an important notice for NRI candidates participating in NEET PG Counselling 2025. This notice clarifies how the NRI category seat allotment will be carried out and provides details on the priority system used during seat allocation.

Candidates who had earlier applied to convert their citizenship/seat category to the NRI quota have now been provisionally approved based on the documents submitted. The updated list of eligible candidates is attached to the official notice.

MCC NEET PG 2025 NRI Quota: Priority System

NRI quota allocation will follow a strict sequential priority system:

Priority 1 (Annexure I)

Candidates who fall under the following groups will be considered first:

Priority 2 (Annexure II)

If seats remain after Priority 1 is exhausted, the following candidates will be considered:

  • First-Degree Relatives of NRIs: Parents, siblings, spouse, children
  • Second-Degree Relatives of NRIs: Grandparents, uncles, aunts, cousins, etc., with valid legal/financial support documents

Important Note: Seat allotment will begin with Priority 1. Only if seats are still available, allocation will move to Priority 2.

Document Verification Rule for MCC NEET PG 2025 NRI Quota:

Although the list is published, it is purely provisional.

To retain the allotted seat, candidates must present original documents at the time of reporting to the allotted medical college.
