Eligibility Criteria for Indian-to-NRI Conversion

Only candidates who meet the conditions set by the Supreme Court in the CODEUNIK judgment are eligible to apply. The criteria include:

  • The candidate must have an NRI parent or eligible NRI relative.
  • The candidate must be sponsored for the entire course fee and living expenses.
  • The relationship between the candidate and the NRI relative must be legally documented.
  • All proofs must comply with the guidelines of the Anshul Tomar case and other relevant court directions.

1. NEET PG Documents

  • NEET PG Admit Card
  • NEET PG Score Card

2. Proof of NRI Status of Parent or Eligible Relative

  • Visa, Residence Permit, or Work Permit
  • OCI or PIO Card
  • NRI Certificate issued by the Embassy or Indian Consulate

3. Proof of Relationship

A certificate issued by the competent Revenue Authority, supported by a family tree, establishing the relationship between the candidate and the sponsoring NRI relative.

4. Sponsorship Affidavit

A notarised affidavit from the NRI relative confirming the sponsorship of:

  • Full tuition fees
  • Living expenses for the entire duration of the course

The affidavit must be accompanied by the NRE bank account passbook of the sponsor.

5. Academic Documents

  • Class 10 mark sheet and passing certificate
  • Class 12 mark sheet and passing certificate

6. Birth Certificate

7. Optional Documents

  • Passport of candidate
  • Passport of sponsor
