NEET PG 2025 Results Under Scrutiny: Candidates Claim Marks Not Counted

NEET PG 2025 results spark controversy as students allege missing marks and lack of transparency, with many planning to approach the Supreme Court.

The announcement of NEET PG 2025 results has triggered a fresh controversy. Many students claim that marks from the questions kept for review were not added to their final scores. This has reportedly lowered the ranks of several candidates in the merit list. In Madhya Pradesh alone, over 3,000 students from the Indore division have raised objections.

Concerns Over Transparency

Candidates allege that the examination board neither included the review-question marks nor released the answer sheets and question papers for verification. According to them, this goes against court directives that had earlier emphasised complete transparency in the exam process.

Supreme Court’s Directives

Earlier, the Supreme Court had allowed the National Board of Examinations (NBE) to conduct NEET PG 2025. The court had directed the NBE to ensure fair conduct of the exam, provide students with an option to change exam centres, and maintain transparency. However, students now argue that these instructions were not properly followed.

Students Prepare Legal Action

NEET PG is the gateway for medical graduates to pursue MD, MS, and PG diploma courses. The exam was already delayed this year, and the ongoing dispute over results has further added to student stress. Claiming unfair evaluation and a lack of transparency, several students are now planning to seek the Supreme Court’s intervention. They believe only judicial action can ensure a fair outcome.
