The National Board of Examinations in Medical Sciences has revoked the NEET PG result of 22 candidates following evidence of cheating in 2021-2025 exams. This follows a lengthy probe by the NBEMS Examination Ethics Committee.
NEET PG Results
The results of all 22 candidates are null, the government statement reads. NBEMS warned it was illegal to produce these results for employment, admission, registration, or enrolment.
“Producing the said scorecard and/or result of NEET-PG of the respective session for any purposes shall be unlawful.”

Five Exam Sessions under Question
Suspensions are to five individual years of exams:
- 13 candidates of NEET PG 2025
- 3 of 2024
- 4 of 2023
- 1 each in 2022 and 2021
One of them, Srusti Bommanahalli Rajanna, was disqualified after the disposal of Writ Petition No. 5785/2025 in the Karnataka High Court, while the remaining 21 were held guilty by the NBEMS ethics committee.
NEET PG 2025 Still Under Legal Review
More than 2.42 lakh candidates took the NEET PG 2025, out of which 1,28,116 cleared into MD, MS, and PG Diploma seats. The schedule of counselling, however, is already on since the city has gone into judicial review, where question papers and answer keys have been filed for to make it more transparent.
11 FMGE Candidates Also Disqualified
The move was taken in tandem since NBEMS also cancelled the result of 11 candidates who had appeared for the Foreign Medical Graduate Examination (FMGE) from 2021 to 2025 for the same fault.

The FMGE June 2025 session also saw a steep dip in pass percentage – 18.61% of the students passed the exam while close to 30% had passed in 2024. A total of 37,207 candidates, only 6,707 managed to pass.
NBEMS reiterated its assurance to continue transparency and integrity in medical tests, stating that tough disciplinary action will continue to be against any effort at compromising test ethics. For more info you can visit the NBEMS official site natboard.edu.in
