NMC Extends Deadline for NEET-PG 2025 Admission Data Submission

The extension comes after multiple medical colleges reported technical issues while uploading data on the admission monitoring portal.

NMC Extends Deadline for NEET-PG 2025 Admission Data Submission: In a recent announcement, the National Medical Commission (NMC) has announced an extension of the deadline for submitting admission-related information for postgraduate medical courses through NEET-PG 2025. The revised deadline is now April 15, 2026, offering relief to medical institutions across the country.

The decision was communicated through an official notice issued by the Post Graduate Medical Education Board (PGMEB) under NMC. Initially, all medical colleges and postgraduate institutions were required to upload admission data for the academic session 2025-26 on the NMC Admission Monitoring Portal by April 8, 2026.

However, several institutions reported technical difficulties while uploading the required details. Taking these concerns into account, the competent authority approved the extension to ensure smooth and accurate data submission.

The NMC has directed all medical colleges, directors, principals, and deans to complete the submission process within the extended timeline without fail. This step is crucial for maintaining transparency and proper monitoring of admissions conducted through NEET-PG.

Officials emphasized that no further extensions are likely, urging institutions to act promptly and avoid last-minute issues.

Why This Matters:
The extension ensures that all institutions get adequate time to resolve technical glitches and submit accurate admission records, which play a vital role in regulatory oversight and maintaining the integrity of postgraduate medical education in India.
