TN PG Medical Admissions 2025: 921 Candidates Declared Ineligible, Grievance Portal Opens

Tamil Nadu DMER declares 921 PG medical aspirants ineligible for NEET PG 2025 admissions; grievance portal open till October 23 for document correction.

The Directorate of Medical Education and Research (DMER), Tamil Nadu, has declared 921 candidates ineligible for the upcoming PG Medical Admissions 2025–26 under the NEET PG counselling process. The ineligible list includes students from multiple categories, and the department has also opened a grievance portal for document submission and verification.

Category-wise Ineligible Candidates

Out of the total 921 ineligible applicants:

  • 332 candidates belong to the Government quota
  • 265 under the NRI quota
  • 221 from the Management quota
  • 35 under the Christian minority quota
  • 59 under the Telugu minority quota
  • 9 under the Malayalam minority quota

Document Submission through Grievance Portal

The DMER has provided a final opportunity for students to correct document discrepancies through the official grievance portal.
Candidates can upload missing or incomplete certificates till October 23, 2025. After the deadline, no further submissions or corrections will be accepted.

Special Instructions for PwD Candidates

Applicants under the Persons with Disabilities (PwD) category must upload:

  • NEET PG 2025 result card
  • Valid UDID card issued by the designated medical authority
  • Self-certified affidavit in the prescribed format

The verification portal for PwD candidates will remain open until October 23, 2025.

  1. Visit the official Tamil Nadu medical admissions portal.
  2. Log in to the grievance section and check your eligibility status.
  3. Upload the required documents before the deadline.
  4. Verify all category-specific documents to avoid disqualification.
  5. Stay updated on upcoming counselling rounds and seat allotment notices.
