New Delhi: The Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) has officially extended the choice-filling and choice-locking window for NEET PG Counselling 2025 Round-1 by 2–3 days. This decision has been taken in the larger interest of candidates who were facing technical issues and needed additional time to complete their preferences.
The extension comes as a relief for thousands of postgraduate medical aspirants who were rushing to finalize their choices for MD/MS/PG Diploma and DNB seats under the All India Quota (AIQ), Deemed Universities, Central Universities, and AFMS institutions.
Why the Extension?
According to MCC, many candidates reported:
- Difficulty accessing the portal,
- Last-minute technical glitches,
- Server slowdown due to heavy traffic.
To ensure that no eligible candidate misses the opportunity, MCC has allowed additional days for students to fill and lock their choices.
