MCC NEET PG Counselling 2026 Final Seat Matrix Out

The Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) has published the final seat matrices for PG Counselling 2026 (MD/MS) for Central Internal Quota and Deemed Universities. MCC has also issued Notice 4, asking participating institutes to check their seat matrix and report any discrepancy before Round 1 choice filling is completed.

MCC Notice 4: Verify the Seat Matrix

The notice is addressed to all participating institutes, colleges and hospitals. Its main points are:

• Institutes must carefully verify the seat matrix to confirm the number of seats available in each PG course at their institution.
• Any discrepancy must be brought to MCC’s notice before the Round 1 choice-filling schedule for PG Counselling 2026 is completed.

The notice does not give the choice-filling dates, so candidates should watch the official MCC website for the Round 1 schedule.

Central Internal Quota Seat Matrix (857 Seats)

This matrix covers seats in central institutes in Delhi and Uttar Pradesh, listed under their respective university quotas. It includes MD and MS seats, along with a few diploma seats, across categories such as OP, BC, SC, ST and EW, with PH sub-categories.

Deemed University Seat Matrix (7,537 Seats)

The deemed matrix is much larger, running to 115 pages and covering about 41 deemed university institutes. Seats are listed under two quota types, Self-Financed Merit Seats and Non-Resident Indian (NRI) seats.
