MP NEET PG 2025 Mop-Up Round Resignation & Upgradation Open

Candidates are advised to carefully read the guidelines and penalty conditions before proceeding.

MP NEET PG 2025 Mop-Up Round: The Directorate of Medical Education (DME), Madhya Pradesh, has officially opened the online resignation and upgradation link for candidates participating in MP State Combined Counselling – NEET PG 2025 (MD/MS courses). The decision has been announced through an official notice dated 30 January 2026.

NEET PG 2025: Cutoff, Fees, Admission Updates

As per the notice, the resignation and upgradation facility will remain active from 30 January 2026 (5:00 PM) until further notice. All eligible candidates who wish to resign from their allotted seat or opt for upgradation in the Mop-Up Round can now access the link through their candidate login on the official counselling portal dme.mponline.gov.in.

Important Penalty Rules for Resignation

The authority has clearly mentioned that resignation will attract penalties as per existing rules:

  • ₹2 lakh penalty for Non-NRI candidates
  • ₹10 lakh penalty for NRI candidates

Candidates opting for resignation must physically report to the college where they are currently admitted to complete the resignation process, even though the link is online.

Upgradation Option for Mop-Up Round

Candidates who wish to change their preference for seat upgradation in the Mop-Up Round can do so by selecting the “Willingness to Upgrade” option available in their login dashboard.

The notice has been issued by the Director of Medical Education, Madhya Pradesh, and applies strictly to MD/MS NEET PG 2025 state counselling candidates.
