NBEMS FMGE 2025 Eligibility Certificate: NMC Notice For Application Process

NMC will accept FMGE 2025 Eligibility Certificate applications from 1st to 30th September.

NBEMS FMGE 2025 Eligibility Certificate: The Foreign Medical Graduate Examination (FMGE) Screening Test, conducted by the National Board of Examinations in Medical Sciences (NBEMS), is expected to be scheduled in the coming months. In order to appear for this examination, it is mandatory for candidates to obtain an Eligibility Certificate (EC) from the National Medical Commission (NMC).

The NMC has officially released the notification regarding the online application process for the Eligibility Certificate, along with important timelines, advisory notes, and guidelines for applicants.

Why is the Eligibility Certificate Important?

The Eligibility Certificate serves as an official approval from the NMC, confirming that a candidate is qualified to take the FMGE 2025. Without this certificate, foreign medical graduates are not permitted to apply for the FMGE Screening Test.

This makes the EC an essential prerequisite for all candidates who have completed their MBBS or equivalent medical qualifications abroad and intend to practice medicine in India.
