NEET PG 2025 COUNSELLING: AMRU Extends Deadline for Choice Filling in 3rd Round

The university has advised students to fill all preferred choices as new seats may arise during the allotment process.

NEET PG 2025 COUNSELLING: Atal Medical & Research University (AMRU), Himachal Pradesh, has announced an extension of the deadline for submission of choice filling for PG (MD/MS/DNB) 3rd Round Counselling for the academic session 2025-26.

According to the official notification issued by the Controller of Examinations, the last date for submission of preferences has been extended up to 3 February 2026, 2:00 PM, following a revised counselling schedule released by the Medical Counselling Committee (MCC).

The university has clarified that additional seats may become available during the third round due to upgradation or change of college/course by candidates. These newly arising vacancies may not be reflected in the published vacancy list but will still be considered during the seat allotment process.

Candidates have been advised to fill in their choices of colleges, courses, and quota categories according to their preferences, even if certain seats are not currently displayed in the vacancy list, as vacancies can change dynamically during allotment.

AMRU has further urged applicants to regularly visit the university’s official website (amruhp.ac.in) for further announcements.

The notice was issued under the authority of Dr. Parveen Kumar Sharma, Controller of Examinations-cum-Member Secretary, Prospects Review Committee and Common/Centralized Counselling Committee (PG MD/MS), AMRU.
