NEET PG Counselling 2026 MCC PwD Portal Opens Oct 1

The Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) has announced the medical assessment schedule for Persons with Disabilities (PwD) candidates taking part in Round 1 of the NEET PG Counselling 2026. The PwD portal will become active from October 1, 2026.

In a notice on the matter, MCC said that all candidates seeking admission to postgraduate medical courses under the PwD category must complete their medical assessment within the prescribed timeline.

Primary medical assessment from October 1 to October 9

The Primary Medical Assessment Board will be open from October 1 to October 9, 2026. The last time to complete the assessment is 5:00 PM on October 9.

PwD candidates in Round 1 have been asked to visit their designated Primary Medical Assessment Centre within this period and complete the assessment before the deadline.

Appellate assessment from October 5 to October 12

MCC has also announced the timeline for candidates who need assessment by the Appellate Medical Assessment Board. The appellate assessment will start at 10:00 AM on October 5, 2026, and close at 5:00 PM on October 12, 2026.
