NEET PG 2025 Round 2 Counselling: The Government of Rajasthan has officially released the guidelines for Round 2 of the NEET PG 2026 counselling and allotment process for MD/MS/DM/M.Ch courses. The notification has been issued by the Office of the Chairman, M.D/M.S/D.M/M.Ch Candidate’s Allotment Board-2026, located at SMS Medical College, Jaipur.
The Round 2 allotment process will cover Broad Speciality seats under Non-Service and In-Service categories. Eligible candidates are advised to carefully read the instructions and regularly check the official counselling portals for updates.
Key Highlights of Rajasthan NEET PG 2026 Round 2 Counselling
- Fresh registration will be opened for candidates who could not register or complete registration during Round 1.
- Candidates holding a State Reserved (SR) seat allotted and joined in Round 1 are eligible for Round 2.
- Candidates not holding an SR seat, including those who were allotted a seat in Round 1 but did not join, can also participate.
- In-service candidates from NEET PG 2022, who passed their PG course from a private college and were verified by DMHS during Rajasthan NEET PG Counselling 2022, are eligible for Round 2.
- Candidates not allotted any seat in Round 1 are fully eligible for Round 2 participation.
Mandatory Fresh Choice Filling
The allotment board has clearly stated that:
- Online choice filling is mandatory for all eligible candidates wishing to participate in Round 2.
- Candidates seeking upgradation or fresh allotment must fill fresh choices, irrespective of their Round 1 status.
- Candidates holding a seat from Round 1 who do not fill fresh choices will retain their existing seat.
- Candidates who were not holding a seat in Round 1 and fail to fill fresh choices will not be considered for Round 2 allotment.
Retention of Round 1 Seat
- The Round 1 allotted college, if any, will be automatically included in the Round 2 choice list.
- If no higher preference seat is allotted in Round 2, the Round 1 seat will be retained.
