NEET PG 2025: The Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) will conduct four rounds of counselling for NEET PG 2025 admissions. These rounds include Round 1, Round 2, Round 3, and the Stray Vacancy Round. This counselling is for candidates who qualify for All India Quota (AIQ) seats based on their NEET PG rank.
Seats will be allotted in top central universities and institutes like Delhi University (DU), Banaras Hindu University (BHU), Aligarh Muslim University (AMU), and I.P. University, among others.

NEET PG 2025: All India Quota Seats
The Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) of DGHS will conduct four rounds of NEET PG 2025 counselling. These include:
- Round 1
- Round 2
- Round 3
- Stray Vacancy Round, as per the Supreme Court order (SLA(C) No. 10487 of 2021).
All candidates who qualify for AIQ seats based on their NEET PG rank by the National Board of Examination in Medical Sciences (NBEMS) can participate in the counselling. Eligible candidates can download their rank letter and results from the NBEMS website. The cutoff ranks will be available on the MCC website (www.mcc.nic.in).
NEET PG Open Seats without any domicile restrictions include:
- 50% of All India Quota seats
- 50% of seats at Banaras Hindu University (BHU)
- 50% of seats at Aligarh Muslim University (AMU)
- 50% of All India Quota seats in Delhi University and Central Institutes like VMMC & SJH, ABVIMS & RML, ESIC-Basaidarapur
- 100% of DNB seats
NEET PG 2025: Central Universities under MCC

Delhi University (DU)
Delhi University will give 50% of its seats to the All India Quota (AIQ). The remaining 50% seats are reserved for candidates who have completed their MBBS from DU, under the university’s internal quota.
- Lady Hardinge Medical College (LHMC)
- University College of Medical Sciences (UCMS)
- Maulana Azad Medical College (MAMC)
- Maulana Azad Institute of Dental Sciences (MAIDS)
Aligarh Muslim University (AMU)
Aligarh Muslim University (AMU) will allocate 50% of its seats to the All India Quota (AIQ). The other 50% of the seats are reserved for candidates who have completed their MBBS from AMU under the university’s internal quota.

Banaras Hindu University (BHU)
50% Seats will be contributed by BHU to the All India Quota. For the remaining 50% seats, candidates who have completed their MBBS from BHU are eligible for internal seats of 50% in BHU.
IP University Central Institutes
Fifty percent (50%) of the seats in Central Institutes like VMMC & SJH, ABVIMS & RML, and ESIC-Basaidarapur will be given to the All India Quota (AIQ).
The other 50% seats are reserved for candidates who have completed their MBBS from I.P. University, including VMMC & SJH, ABVIMS & RML, Dr. Baba Saheb Ambedkar Medical College & Hospital, Army College of Medical Sciences, and North Delhi Municipal Corporation (Medical College) Hindu Rao Hospital.
These candidates are eligible for the internal quota seats in these Central Institutes.
- Vardhman Mahavir Medical College & Safdarjung Hospital (VMMC & SJH)
- Atal Bihari Vajpayee Institute of Medical Sciences & Dr. Ram Manohar Lohia Hospital (ABVIMS & RML)
- ESIC Medical College, Basaidarapur
Central Institute of Psychiatry (CIP), Ranchi
CIP, Ranchi, contributes 100% seats for NEET PG Counselling. There are no Internal /State quota seats in this Institute/College.
Lokopriya Gopinath Bordoloi Regional Institute of Mental Health, Assam
The Institute contributes 100% seats for NEET PG Counselling.
NEET PG 2025: Eligibility and Important Instructions
- Domicile-free AIQ: The 50% AIQ seats are open to candidates from any state.
- Internal Quota: Eligibility criteria for internal quota are determined by individual colleges/universities, and MCC has no role in this.
- Verification: Candidates must read and confirm eligibility conditions before applying under the internal quota.
- False Information: If incorrect details are found at any stage, the candidate will be disqualified from further rounds, and the security deposit will be forfeited.
