The Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) is likely to release the NEET PG 2025 counselling schedule shortly on its official website, mcc.nic.in. Counselling will be conducted for 50% All India Quota (AIQ) seats in MD, MS, and other postgraduate medical courses for the academic session 2025-26.
Meanwhile, the Supreme Court (SC) will continue hearing pleas related to the NEET PG 2025 transparency issue today, September 12. A Bench of Justice JB Pardiwala and Justice KV Viswanathan is expected to address concerns over the NEET PG 2025 answer key and evaluation process.
Earlier, the SC had directed the National Board of Examinations in Medical Sciences (NBEMS) to release raw scores, answer keys, and details of the normalisation process. However, NBEMS only published question IDs and answers, which, according to petitioners, makes it impossible to verify the correctness of responses.
Several candidates, along with the United Doctors Front (UDF), have alleged discrepancies of 50 to 150 marks in their results. Petitioners are demanding that NBEMS release the full set of questions, official answer keys, and marked responses to ensure transparency.
The NEET PG 2025 exam was conducted on August 3 in a single shift, following SC’s directions. This year, 1,28,116 candidates qualified the exam. While MCC is preparing for centralised counselling, states like Gujarat and Tamil Nadu have already started their PG admission process, whereas Kerala and Karnataka have notified their respective bond policies.
