The Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) has released the Updated Final MCC DNB Seat Matrix for NEET PG 2025 Counselling. The updated matrix includes the final list of DNB Broad Specialty and DNB Super Specialty seats available across accredited hospitals and teaching institutions in India.
Officials said this list includes all corrections, additions, and institutional updates submitted after the provisional list was released earlier this month.
Key Highlights of the Updated DNB Seat Matrix
- Final list of seats across government, private, corporate, and trust-run hospitals
- Updated seat counts after institute verification
- Corrections in department-wise and hospital-wise distribution
- Removal of seats from hospitals with accreditation lapses
- Addition of newly accredited hospitals for PG 2025
The NBEMS stated that this seat matrix will be used by the Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) during the All India DNB counselling process for the 2025-26 session.
A senior NBEMS official said the update aims to ensure transparency and accuracy before the counselling window opens. “The final seat matrix has been corrected based on institutional feedback. Candidates are advised to refer only to the 19 November updated version for choice filling,” the official added.

DNB Continues to See Rising Demand
With more hospitals receiving accreditation and improved clinical training standards, the DNB programme continues to attract a high number of applicants. In several broad specialties, including Medicine, Pediatrics, Orthopaedics, and Radiology, the DNB route is now considered equivalent to MD/MS in terms of career progression and NMC recognition.
