NEET PG Counselling: The Directorate of Medical Education (DME), Chhattisgarh, has officially announced the start of the combined counselling process for MD/MS postgraduate medical admissions for the 2025 academic session. The counselling will be conducted for state quota seats in government and private medical colleges across Chhattisgarh.
This decision follows the completion of All India Quota (AIQ) counselling rounds and the closure of the seat resignation period. As per the revised schedule, the first and second rounds of state counselling will now be conducted together, followed by a third round through online application and choice filling.

Registration and Choice Filling Guidelines
- New candidates must complete fresh online registration.
- Previously registered candidates do not need to register again but must re-fill and lock their choices, as all earlier choices have been cancelled due to rule amendments.
- Failure to re-fill choices will result in non-consideration for seat allotment.
- Candidates who have already locked their applications can edit details free of cost until the final submission deadline.

A refundable security deposit is mandatory to participate in counselling. However, the amount will be forfeited if a candidate:

Payment Mode and Refund Policy
- Payments can be made through Internet Banking, Debit Card, or Credit Card.

- Refunds, if applicable, will be processed to the same bank account used for payment.
- Candidates are encouraged to keep an alternate active bank account to avoid refund delays.
Important Instructions for Candidates
- Choice filling is mandatory for all candidates, regardless of previous participation.
- In case of any payment failure or application error, corrective action must be completed at least 24 hours before the deadline.
- Uploading of service certificates and bonus mark documents is compulsory for service candidates.
- Any incorrect or incomplete information may lead to cancellation of candidature, for which the candidate alone will be responsible.
