Category-Wise Merit List vs Overall Merit List

Delhi publishes separate rank lists for each category – General, OBC, SC, ST, EWS, and PwBD – in addition to the overall merit list. A candidate’s category rank is usually different from their overall AIR, since it is calculated only among candidates of that category. Candidates should check both lists, as seat allotment during counselling is done against category-specific vacancies as well as the open (General) pool.
