Bengaluru, October 14, 2025: Karnataka Examination Authority (KEA) will close the extended NEET PG 2025 state counselling registration for round 3 tomorrow, October 15, 2025.
Candidates, who are eligible and have not applied yet, are requested to register on time through the official KEA portal (cetonline.karnataka.gov.in).
The earlier deadline of October 9 was extended to allow more postgraduate medical and dental candidates to avail themselves of the state counselling round.
What The Extension Means
The short extension provides one final opportunity to enter the counselling process. Failing to do so may lead to disqualification from subsequent processes like option entry, document verification, and seat allotment.

Seat Allotment Process For Karnataka NEET PG
Allotment will be as per published seat matrix of the Government of Karnataka and based on a computerized process keeping in mind:
- NEET PG merit rank
- Eligibility and reservation factors
- Option filled in order of entry at the time of option entry
- Available seats in real-time during allotment time
The process will try to place each candidate into the most appropriate seat based on their preference and rank.

Step-by-Step Guide to Registration
- Open the KEA portal and choose NEET PG 2025 Counselling.
- Register with personal, academic, and NEET PG required details.
- Upload documents whenever required in provided size and format.
- Remit the application fee using the provided online options.
- Save the form and preserve the confirmation page as record.
Instructions Before Due Date
- Re-check the NEET PG roll number, name, and category information for accuracy.
- Ensure scanned documents are legible, readable, and within the specified size.
- Preserve a copy of the confirmation and proof of fee payment to be safely stored.
- Verify KEA notifications for option allocation information, verification, and entry timetables.
