Etawah, Uttar Pradesh: A 27-year-old MBBS graduate, Dr. Saumya Dixit Dies by suicide at her residence in the Arjun Nagar Pakka Bagh area of Etawah while preparing for her upcoming NEET-PG examination.
According to police officials, Dr. Dixit was living with her father, Ravikant Dixit, who works under the jurisdiction of Friends Colony police station. Her mother was in Bengaluru visiting her elder son when the incident took place.
The incident came to light when her father returned home from work and found the door locked from inside. After repeated attempts to get a response, he broke open the door with the help of neighbours and found his daughter unresponsive.
Police and forensic teams reached the spot and collected a suicide note.
