Lakshadweep NEET PG Counselling 2026: Dates, Registration, Eligibility, Seat Allocation, Cutoff, etc.

The Lakshadweep NEET PG Counselling is not a large, multi-round, choice-locking counselling like most states run; Lakshadweep has no medical college of its own, so the Department of Education, UT Administration of Lakshadweep, directly allocates a small, fixed number of MD/MS/PG Diploma seats (reserved for Lakshadweep candidates in colleges of other states, mainly Kerala) to NEET PG-qualified local candidates. Selection is based on the candidate’s NEET PG score/rank, and allocation notices, checklists and results are published directly on lakshadweep.gov.in, not through a separate state counselling portal.

This article covers how Lakshadweep NEET PG seat allocation actually works, expected dates, eligibility criteria, documents required, cutoff, and frequently asked questions, so that Lakshadweep candidates know exactly what to track and where.

Lakshadweep NEET PG Choice Filling Tips

• Check the seat matrix of every round, because seat availability changes between rounds.
• Fill as many choices as you are willing to join, arranged strictly in order of preference.
• Use the NEET PG College Predictor 2026 and previous year cutoffs to judge a realistic range for your rank and category.
• Compare the service bond, tuition fee and stipend of each college before locking, using state-wise bond and stipend details.
• Check the eligibility rules of each state, because many government quota seats need a local MBBS or domicile.
• Lock your choices before the deadline. Unlocked choices may not be considered.
• If you are taking part in MCC and state counselling together, note all round dates. An MCC allotment can affect your state list.
• Compare branches such as MD General Medicine, MD Radiology, MS General Surgery and MD Pediatrics before finalising your order
