Eligibility Criteria

To gain admission to PG medical courses, candidates are required to meet the following eligibility criteria for NEET PG Counselling 2026:

• NEET PG: Candidates must qualify NEET PG 2026, with a minimum of the 50th percentile for General/EWS, 45th for General PwBD and 40th for SC/ST (including PwBD of SC/ST).
• Age Limit: There is no age limit for admission to PG (MD/MS) courses.
• Educational Qualification: Candidates must hold an MBBS degree or a recognized certificate from the National Medical Commission (NMC).
• Internship: Candidates must complete their one-year internship or have the original certificate on or before the NBEMS cut-off date (reported as 30 September 2026; confirm in the TRMCC bulletin).
• Registration Certificate: Candidates must have a permanent or provisional MBBS registration certificate issued by the Tripura State Medical Council, another State Medical Council or the NMC.

Step 1: Registration	Candidates must first register themselves on the official counselling website of Tripura by using their NEET PG Roll no and other required details.
Step 2: Payment of Counselling Fee	Candidates are required to pay the prescribed registration fee and security deposit online; the registration fee is non-refundable.
Step 3: Choice filling and Locking	Once the payment is completed, the candidate can select the preferred college and courses from the available options based on their eligibility, and lock the choices.
